Terms of Service
1. Respectful behaviour policy
We strive for a safe and meaningful experience for all of our participants. We welcome people’s self-expression, as set in our community guidelines and online etiquette in the FAQ.
In order to ensure the safety of participants and facilitators, we will not tolerate aggressive, vulgar, discriminatory, insulting, and / or malicious language or behaviour. Participants who do not agree to adapt themselves in order to maintain a safe and respectful space for all will be subject to the removal of an event and possible permanent removal from the platform and all future events.
2. Acknowledgement and Restrictions
The AR-GO Team aims to support its members in their personal development work. During our online events, participants may experience any range of emotions, including joy, anger, frustration, grief, sadness, or fear. Participants may also notice in themselves judgements, projections, limiting beliefs, personal patterns, physical discomforts, and psychological reactions, among other states or experiences, that come up. We recognize that anyone can have any number of experiences and reactions for any number of reasons and we acknowledge this risk for participation in our events.
We do not claim to be doctors, psychologists, therapists or professionals of any professional order. If you are taking medication or are receiving other medical or psychological treatments, we do not recommend that you stop your prescription or treatment under any circumstances.
The AR-GO events and all of the content on our website and social media are intended strictly for adults aged 18 and above. The information, sharing, and suggestions provided on our website, our newsletters, social network platforms, or during our events are intended to be generative in each participant’s personal development work. Any information shared online, or by facilitators during the events, is based on our personal lived experiences and should not be considered as an ideology or objective truth. We strongly encourage all participants to assess what resonates for themselves by validating the truth in their own lived and embodied experience. Thus, participants are entirely responsible for their awareness, choices and experience in relation to, and for the use of, the information provided by AR-GO on the website, newsletters, on our social media platforms, or during events. Under no circumstances can AR-GO or its facilitators be held responsible for any potential errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may exist on our website, newsletters, our social network platforms, or during our events.
3. Release of responsibility
The participants release AR-GO Team and all hosts and facilitators and contributors from any and all liability for any prejudice they may suffer or cause to be suffered, directly or indirectly, as a result of the services offered. The participant is solely responsible for the use of the proposed services and expressly releases AR-GO Team from any liability towards third parties.
4. Donations
Most of our events are by donation. Donations are non-refundable.
Authentic Relating Go is NOT a registered charity and donations made are NOT tax-deductible.
5. Cancellation policy
For events, trainings and series that have a fee, participants are free to withdraw their registration at any time, for any reason with refund. If participants cancel their registration less than 24 hours before an event, a refund will not be issued.
In the case of low registration, last-minute debilitating illness of facilitators, or any other circumstances out of our control, events may be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
6. Changes to these Terms
From time to time, AR-GO Team may amend the Terms of Service. If we make changes to the Terms of Service, we will notify you by posting an announcement on our Website or by sending you an email. If you access the Services after such changes have been implemented, you are bound by any changes to the Terms of Service.
7. Your Acceptance of These Terms
In registering for and participating in AR-GO events, you are entering into an agreement to participate in and follow / ensure the rules and directions, our community guidelines, online etiquette, and constant monitoring of AR-GO Team with regards to safety.
In registering for AR-GO events, you hereby confirm that you have read and understood this Agreement prior to consenting, registering or attending any AR-GO event, and agree that the Terms of Service will be binding upon your heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and successors signing it, and agree that this Agreement shall be governed in all respects by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada.
